Bali is known as the “Island of the Gods” for its beautiful natural scenery, landscapes, and beaches as well as the traditional yet authentic culture. Much less known and often underestimated is the breath-taking underwater life around Bali. World class diving sites make Bali an ideal destination for those who want to combine exploring the underwater world with other activities and excursions. Bali has diving sites for both experienced divers as well as those who have never dived before.

Villa Asmara offers you a unique opportunity to experience diving for the first time. Diving introductions and diving courses can be arranged in the pool, which is over 2 metres deep. For this, we work together with “Arrows Dive”, a local diving school in which safety and professionalism are paramount. If you are hooked after the introduction and would like to pass the full PADI Open Water diploma, you can arrange this with the staff of the diving centre, and all swimming lessons can continue at Villa Asmara. The four open water dives usually take place near Menjangan Island and the famous ship wreck of the USS Liberty in Tulamben.

For those who think diving is a step too far but still want to discover the amazing underwater world, professional day trips can be organised to the world famous snorkelling sites near “Menjangan Island”. These can be booked at Villa Asmara and are done in collaboration with “Arrows Dive”. This link will give you more information: Discovery coined Menjangan Island with a 3rd place in the list of the best snorkelling sites in the world.
